Description: I have done many goddess figures over the years, but this one seems more powerful than others. Perhaps it is the journal pages on her paper-cloth cloak. I wanted to do something with this root and realized it was the perfect opportunity to merge with unfired paper-clay to demonstrate the strength of the dry paper-clay as a finished sculpture technique. Most people don’t realize that the body is not fired.
